Who can do what

Everyone on a team has one role in each church: Musician, Leader, Admin, or Owner. Each role can do everything the one before it can, and more. You can see anyone's role on their page in People.

What each role can do

• Musician: sees the schedule, the songs and charts, and set lists once they're published. Answers requests, plays from the stage view, keeps their own notes on charts, and adds their time away. Can post in a service's Updates when they're scheduled on it.
• Leader: everything a musician can, plus adding and editing songs, planning and publishing services, scheduling people, and adding and inviting musicians. Leaders see set lists before they're published, the team's contact details, and Reports.
• Admin: everything a leader can, plus Settings: positions, service types, scheduling rules, billing, and export. Admins can add leaders and take leaders and musicians off the team.
• Owner: everything, including making someone an owner or admin, changing an admin's details, transferring ownership, deleting the church, and seeing support visits. A church can have more than one owner.

Change someone's role

1. Open People and choose the person.
2. Choose Edit.
3. Pick a new Role and choose Save.

You can only give roles below your own: admins can make leaders and musicians, and only an owner can make an owner or an admin. Only someone who has signed in with their own account can be made an owner. If their invitation was waiting, changing the role cancels it, so send a new one.

Hand the church to someone else

Can't change your own role? Ask an owner or admin. To stop being part of a church, use Leave under Your churches in your settings.
