Make a picture with AI
A background or picture for your slides from a few words, in a style you pick, checked for church, and yours.
Present can make a picture for your slides from a few words: a background to put words over, or a picture on its own. Open Present, then , and press . Leaders and the people who run the slides can make them.
- Say what it should show, like "Morning light through tall pine trees, mist on the ground".
- Pick a style from the tiles: each shows the same scene made that way, from and through , , , , , , , and . A mood is optional: Joyful, Calm, Solemn, Hopeful, Dramatic, Tender, Majestic or Playful.
- Say what it's for ( or ), its shape (wide for the screen, standard for an older projector, square for series art and social media, tall for a portrait TV and phones), Quick or Finer, and how many (one to four).
- Press . Quick pictures take about half a minute, Finer about a minute. Close the panel if you like: they land in the Library under as each one finishes, named from what's in it ("Light Through the Stone Door"), and numbered when there's more than one.
- Tap the ones you'll use now, give one a name of your own if you like, and press . The button under them (Make 2 more, or 3, or 4) tries again with the same idea; goes back to the idea. On a phone the panel fills the screen, and stays at the bottom, in reach, while the rest scrolls.
Every picture that comes out is your church's: you paid for it, so it stays in the Library until someone deletes it. One nobody has put on a slide yet shows , with the name of whoever asked for it, and the Library has and under Made with AI to find them.
Quick and Finer
Quick is Seedream 5.0 Flash: about half a minute, and one of the month's pictures. Finer is Seedream 5.0 Pro: about a minute, finer detail, and it counts as two of the month's pictures (it costs twice as much). Both come in every shape and style.
The words
For a picture behind words, say where the words will go: anywhere, or on the left, the right, the middle, the top or the bottom. The picture keeps that part calm, so the words read.
Let the words pass behind the subject makes the picture and then a cut-out of its subject. Use the picture from a slide's background chooser and both go on: the picture behind the words, and the cut-out in front of them, so the words sit between the scene and the person or thing in it. It takes one more of the month's pictures (two for Finer), and the cut-out is in the Library too, named for its picture.
What the words say, and their font, size and colour, are the slide's own, from its theme. The picture never has words drawn in it.
Cut it out
For a picture on its own, makes the picture, then the same thing with no background: a prop, a symbol or a cut-out you can place in a designed slide over anything. The cut-out is a second picture in the Library (its tile shows a checked ground), one more of the month's pictures (two for Finer).
The same people, places and things
The In the picture row lists your church's cast: people who've agreed, made-up characters, places and props. Tick who, where and what, write their names into the idea, and they come out looking the same as in their photos. The row counts the reference pictures against the model's ten.
More like a picture of yours
gives the model one of your own pictures as a reference, so the new one follows its look. A picture with a credit (someone else's) isn't offered, and a photo with people in it stays home: it isn't sent out.
From a slide
A slide's background and picture choosers have a tab, on designed slides too. The picture you use goes straight onto the slide, and into the Library.
For a sermon or a series
A picture idea from the sermon builder has , which opens Make a picture with the idea written in; several ideas can be making at once. A series gets its art the same way, with on the series' page; square is its shape, and the series' name is set over it when it's downloaded.
A picture's own story
Open a picture made with AI and its panel says which model made it, when, what it was for, its style, shape, quality and mood, and the idea it came from. opens Make a picture with that idea and all of those settings, and takes the words elsewhere.
What it won't make
Every idea is checked before it's made, and every picture after: nothing unfit for a service, no real person's likeness (except someone in the cast who has agreed), no celebrity's face, no characters or logos, no children in a photo (a painting is fine), and no words in the picture, since PraisePad puts your words on top. An idea that doesn't fit says why, suggests one that would, and isn't counted.
Pictures of Jesus follow your church's choice in Present's settings, under AI: symbols only at first (light, a cross, an empty tomb, a figure far off), or allowed, or never.
Wider or sharper
Open a picture in the Library: fills out one narrower than your screen, and helps a small one. The new picture lands in the Library beside the old one, named for it. Neither is offered for a picture with a credit (someone else's), and a photo with people in it isn't sent out.
How many, and what they cost
Present includes 20 pictures a month, counted from the first of the month on your church's clock. A Quick picture is one of them, a Finer picture two, and a cut-out one more; one that doesn't come out is given back. After the 20, each comes from your AI allowance and credit (about 2¢ Quick, 4¢ Finer), and the line beside says so with the balance; there opens Billing's credit for owners and admins. Present's settings show what's left, under AI. Pictures take room in the Library like any file; when it is full, none can be made until something is deleted (archiving keeps a file).
