Your first Sunday, start to finish

A Sunday in PraisePad has five steps: get your songs in, make the service, build the set list, ask people to play, and publish it. On the day, everyone plays from the stage view. Each step below links to the article with the details.

The week before

1. Get your songs in. Open Songs and choose Import charts to bring in PDFs or photos of your charts, or New song to type one. See Add a song and Import a folder of PDFs.
2. Make the service. Choose Plan a service on Home, pick the Service type and Date, and choose Create service. Check the times on its Times tab. See Plan a service and Service types and times.
3. Build the set list. On the Plan tab, search for songs in Add a song. Tap a song's row to set its key for this service. Stuck for ideas? Try Suggest songs.
4. Ask people to play. On the Team tab, choose someone for each position, then send the requests. Each person gets an email and can answer straight from it. See Ask people to play.
5. Publish the set. Choose Publish set. Until then, only leaders see the set list. Once it's published, the team can see it with its keys and times.

As answers come in, the Team tab shows who said yes. If someone can't make it, see Find a sub.

Share a note with the team

Use the service's Updates tab for a changed time or a key change. Check Announcement: tell everyone scheduled to email everyone on the service too. See Updates on a service.

On Sunday

1. Everyone opens the service and chooses Stage view. The charts are in the service's keys, full screen.
2. Leading from the front? Play together keeps everyone's screens on the same song.
3. Worried about the church's Wi-Fi? Choose Download for offline on the service beforehand. See Use PraisePad offline.
