Import up to 50 PDF charts at once

You can bring in up to 50 PDF charts at once, one song per PDF. PraisePad reads each one into a chart you can change key on, and you check them all before anything is saved. Open Songs, press Import, and choose the Photo or PDF tab.

Read the PDFs

1. Drop the PDFs (or a whole folder) on the box, or press Choose a photo or PDFs. Each PDF can be up to 10 MB and 6 pages.
2. PraisePad checks them and says what reading them will cost from your church's AI allowance. Files it can't take are listed under "left out", with the reason.
3. Choose what to do with Songs already in your library: skip them, or add each as another arrangement.
4. Add a tag in Tag every song (optional) if you want to find this batch later.
5. Press the button to read them.

A bar shows how many are done, the time left, and the cost so far. Press Stop to pause, and Read the rest to carry on.

Check and import

Each PDF is marked Ready or Needs a look, for example when the reader wasn't sure of a line or the page had no key. Press the review button when reading is done.

1. Use Needs a look at the top to see only the songs to check.
2. On each one, check the words, chords, and key. Press Looks right when it's fine.
3. Press the import button at the bottom. Songs still waiting for a look stay behind for later.

Each new song keeps its PDF, so you have both the editable chart and the original page.

Come back later

PDFs and what was read from them are kept for a week, and nothing is paid for twice. Under Your PDF imports this week:

• Continue picks a batch up where it stopped.
• Undo the import removes the songs and arrangements it added. Any that are on a service, or were used or changed since, stay.
• Remove from this list tidies it away.
