What PraisePad emails you, and how to change it

For everyoneUpdated September 29, 2026

The emails PraisePad sends, which ones you can turn off, and where your emails go.

PraisePad emails you about the services you're on. You choose which of those emails you get on your Email page. Open the account menu (the circle with your initial) and choose Email settings.

Open in PraisePad to try it

Emails that always come

  • Requests to play, so you never miss one.
  • Changes to your schedule: you were taken off a service, or a service moved or was canceled.
  • Invitations from your leaders, and sign-in links you ask for.

Emails you can turn off

Uncheck any of these on the Email page. The change saves right away.

  • Announcements from your leaders: when a leader posts an announcement on a service you're scheduled for.
  • Reminders before you play: one email a few days before each service you said yes to, with the times and the set.
  • A nudge when you haven't answered: once, two days after a request that's still waiting.
  • When someone needs a sub: for positions you hold, on days you're free.
  • When someone can't make it: leaders only, for the services they schedule.

Most of these emails also have a link at the bottom to turn that kind off. Your settings apply in every church you're in. Requests, reminders, and news about your services also show under the bell in the app.

Where your emails go

Under Where they go, the Email page shows the address each church has for you. To change one, open that church's People, choose your name, and change the email under Contact. See People, positions, and contact details.

The address you sign in with is shown in Your settings, next to Signed in as. It can be different from the one your church emails.
