Nashville numbers charts

Every chart in PraisePad can show as Nashville numbers: choose Numbers and the chords become 1, 4, 5, 6m, and so on, counted from the song's key. Charts written in numbers can be brought in too, and they become chords in the key you choose.

Show a chart in numbers

• On a song's page: choose Numbers above the chart.
• On stage: tap the sliders button at the top, then choose Numbers under View. It stays on for every song until you change it.
• When printing: choose Numbers under Show.

To start every chart in numbers on stage, set View under Charts on stage in your settings.

Numbers are the same in every key, so a capo changes nothing and the capo choice is turned off. In a minor key, the numbers count from the major key that shares its notes, so in A minor the Am chord is 6m.

Bring in a chart written in numbers

Import it like any other chart: a ChordPro or OnSong file, pasted text, or a photo or PDF. On the review, the card says "This chart is written in Nashville numbers."

1. Check the Key. Pick the key the song is sung in.
2. The card shows what 1, 4, and 5 become in that key. Press Show chart to see the whole chart.
3. Import it. The numbers are saved as chords in that key, so the song can change key and show in any view, numbers included.

If the page doesn't give a key, choose one before you import.
