Add a PDF chart to a song

A song can carry PDF charts, like a SongSelect lead sheet. Everyone on the team can open them from the song's page, and on stage the PDF shows when the song has no typed chart. To add one, open the song and press Upload file under Files.

Add a PDF to a song

1. Open the song and choose the arrangement.
2. Under Files, press Upload file.
3. Press Choose a file and pick the PDF (up to 25 MB).
4. Add a Label if you like, such as Lead sheet or Bass chart.
5. Set the Chart key: the key the PDF is written in. It's optional, but it helps the stage pick the right one.
6. Press Upload file.

You can also add a PDF from Songs: press Import, choose the PDF tab, then under Add the PDF to choose A song in the library or A new song, choose the PDF, and press Upload PDF (or Add song and upload PDF).

How it shows on stage

• A song with a typed chart shows the chart. A song with only PDFs shows a PDF.
• With both, a Show the PDF button sits under the song's title, and Show the chart switches back.
• With several PDFs, the stage picks the one whose chart key matches the service's key, then one with no key, then the first.

A PDF is a picture of the page, so its key doesn't change and a capo doesn't redraw it. For a chart that moves with the key, make an editable one: press Make an editable chart from this PDF under the file. See import from a photo or PDF.
