Ask PraisePad a question

Open help with the Help button (or press ? on a keyboard), then type your question in Ask PraisePad at the bottom. The answer comes from PraisePad's help articles, with the steps, the articles it used, and often a Try it button that opens the right page in your church.

Asking

1. Open help from the Help button, or from your account menu.
2. Type your question the way you'd ask a friend, like "How do I set a capo just for me?"
3. Press Enter, or the arrow button.

You can ask a follow-up, and it remembers what you just asked. Choose Start over for something new. The questions under "People often ask" open the article that answers them.

If the answer mentions something only leaders or admins can do, it says so, and what you can do instead.

What it can and can't do

• It answers from the help articles and What's new, so it won't guess about things they don't cover. When it isn't sure, it says so.
• It can't see your church's songs, services, or people, and it can't change anything.
• Anyone can ask it on the public help site too, without signing in.

When you need a person

After you've asked a question, choose Talk to a person at the bottom of help (in PraisePad, it's under an answer it isn't sure about too). Your conversation goes along, so you don't have to explain it again. In PraisePad you can add a screenshot too; on the help site and our website, you give your name and email instead.

In PraisePad, our reply comes to your Help panel while you're there, and by email if you're away. On the help site and our website, we reply by email.

When we close the conversation, you can tell us how we did: Good or Not good, in Help or from our last email. It goes to the person who helped you.

Each answer asks "Did this help?". Your thumbs up or down help us write better help.
