Share a service with your team
A short link for a group text, with a card that shows the set list, and a ready message for each person.
, next to on a service, gives you a short link to paste into a group text, like app.praisepad.app/s/k3J9xQab. When it's pasted, phones show a card with your church, the service's name, day and time, and its songs with their keys.
Share the link
- Open the service and press .
- Press , or for the link with the day, time, and songs written out. On a phone, opens your phone's share sheet, straight to Messages.
- Paste it into your group text.
Someone on your team who's signed in goes straight to the service. Anyone else sees the card, with to sign in.
The card shows song titles and keys only: never charts, people, or notes. Until the set is published it says "Songs coming soon". It stops showing the songs two weeks after the service. When the set changes, the card changes too, though a message you already sent keeps the preview it had.
Some phones don't show link previews in plain texts. saves the picture to send with the link.
replaces the link (the old one stops working), and ends it. To send the charts to someone without an account, use a guest link instead.
A message for each person
On the service's tab, press . There's one ready-to-send text for each person, written from what they're doing:
- Waiting for an answer: it asks them, mentions the songs they lead in their key, and adds their own "say yes or no" link, made when you copy it.
- Said yes: it thanks them, with their part, the songs they lead, the set, and the link.
- Said no: there's no message for them.
Press , or on a phone , which opens Messages with the text filled in when PraisePad has their number. For someone not asked yet, also marks them as waiting, so the schedule and the reminders know. puts every message in one go, each starting with the name.
Each person's three-dot menu on the tab has "Copy their message" too. It's the way to reach someone PraisePad can't email.
The QR code on the printed set list
When you print the set, the order of service has a small QR code in its top corner: "Scan for the charts and your part". It opens the same link. Untick under to leave it off. Printing as a leader makes the link if the service doesn't have one yet.
