Present: email and social for a sermon
From the approved recap, a short email, three posts and a one-page handout, each to copy, write again or edit.
Once a sermon's recap is approved, PraisePad writes what goes out about it: a short email for your church's weekly email, three posts for social media, and a one-page handout with the sermon's outline and the questions for small groups.
Write them
- Open Present, then , then the sermon.
- Approve its recap first (publish a sermon says how): everything here is written from it, never from the transcript.
- Below the recap, under , press .
The three cards
- : about 120 words. copies it, with the sermon's link once it's on your church page.
- : each fits 280 letters with the link. each one, or .
- : one page with the sermon's title, scripture and day, its outline, and the questions for your groups, set in your brand kit's fonts. A font your church uploaded that can't be read safely, or may not be embedded, prints in PraisePad's own. Choose for a page to fill in, or , then press . The outline is the sermon's fill-in slides, as the room saw them; with none, it's made from the recap's key points.
On each card, writes it fresh, and changes the words, then . On the handout, a blank's word goes in [brackets], as on a building slide. A card you edited says so, and Write again asks before replacing your changes. If the recap is approved again after these were written, each card says it was written from an earlier recap, and Write again brings it up to date. Rarely, two changes at the same moment get "These were being changed somewhere else at the same moment. Try again.": press it again.
Good to know
- It quotes only the preacher's own words that the recap kept with its key points, word for word, and it's never written from the raw transcript. The email drops any sentence that quotes something else, and a post that does is left out. When nothing of a card is left, PraisePad says it couldn't be written just now and keeps the card as it was: press Write again.
- Each write costs a fraction of a cent, from your church's AI credit, and writing needs a paid plan.
- The speaker, Present's editors and your church's admins write and edit these. Anyone who can open the sermon can copy them and download the handout.
