At the welcome desk

The welcome desk is a laptop or iPad paired as the desk, with the label printer beside it. A family is checked in about as fast as you can say their name.

Steps

A visiting family: read the Ask aloud questions to the parent, and tick the consent line only once they agree. A room full? The desk says so, and offers the room your Kids leaders set for when it's full. No Wi-Fi? Keep checking in: the desk finds families by name and catches up later.

The desk doesn't sign in as you, so PraisePad can't see you do this. Press Got it when you've read it.

You do this on the church's iPad, so there's nothing to try from here.
