Change a set list by typing what you want

Change with words lets you change a set list by typing what you want, like "Move song 2 to the end in G". PraisePad shows you the change first, and nothing is saved until you press Apply.

Make a change

1. Open a service's Plan tab and press Change with words. On a computer, Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on a Mac) opens it too.
2. Type what to change, and press Preview.
3. Read What will change: each change in words, and the set list now and after, side by side.
4. Press Apply to save it, or Change the request to try other words.

If the set list changed while you were looking, for example because another leader edited it, press Preview again to see the change on the new list.

What you can ask for

• Move a song or item, like "move the welcome to the start".
• Play a song in another key, or at another tempo.
• Add a song from your library, in a key and at a spot if you say so.
• Add a header, like "add Response before song 4".
• Set a song's order of sections, like "V1 C V2 C B C".
• Remove an item, set its notes, rename an item or header, or set how long an item takes.

"Song 2" means the second song, not the second row, so headers and other items aren't counted. When something can't be done, the preview says why and leaves it out.

Undo

After you apply a change, the message that says so has an Undo button for 20 seconds. After that, Undo last change stays next to Change with words while you're on the page, until you use it or make another change.

A change can't be undone once someone has changed the set list after it. Change it by hand then.

Each preview uses a little of your church's monthly AI allowance. See plans and the AI allowance. Only leaders, admins, and owners can change a set list.
