The activity log
Who changed what, and when, for two years. Owners and admins read it in Settings; field names, never values.
The activity log is a list of what people did in your church: every change to people, households, access, teams and roles; every export; every look at a private note; every support visit from PraisePad. Owners and admins read it in Settings, then . It's kept for two years.
Each line is a sentence: who, did what, to whom, and which fields. "Olivia changed Priya Ortiz: birthday, grade." The log records which fields changed, never the old and new values, so it's never a second copy of everyone's birthdays.
Reading it
- The strip at the top counts the last 30 days by kind. Each count is a filter: tap "2 exports" to see only exports.
- Who, What, About, When narrow it further. "About a person" shows everything that touched one record; a record's foot has a link straight to it.
- Tap a line to open it: the fields as chips, the exact time, Open the record, and Everything about that person.
- New since you opened appears when more lines arrive while you read.
Exporting it
saves the range you're looking at as a spreadsheet. That export is itself a line in the log.
What isn't logged
Reading a record isn't logged; only changes are, plus two kinds of reads that matter: opening private notes, and exporting. Nightly jobs that keep smart lists fresh write nothing.
