Send the slides out: PowerPoint, pictures or PDF
From Ready for Sunday, save the slides as a PowerPoint file, a zip of pictures or a PDF, so any computer can show them.
Any presentation can leave PraisePad as a file. Open it, press , and under Send the slides out choose one of three. Everything is made on your computer; nothing is sent anywhere.
- saves a .pptx. Each slide is a real slide: its background as a picture, exactly as the screen draws it, and the words on top as text in the theme's face, size and color, so a typo can be fixed on the other laptop. The pastor's notes and cues go in as speaker notes. It opens in PowerPoint, Keynote and Google Slides. PowerPoint swaps a face the other laptop doesn't have for its nearest; Keynote and Google Slides use their own.
- saves a zip of PNGs, one a slide, 1920 by 1080, numbered in order: for ProPresenter, OBS, a TV's stick or social media. For the words over your livestream's camera, a link is better: see words for your livestream.
- is the backup as before: every slide, one a page, from the browser's print. puts each slide's notes beside it.
Before you press, tick what goes: the pastor's notes as speaker notes, hidden slides too, and which parts (every part at first). While the file builds a bar says "Making the file · 12 of 48", with . If it doesn't finish, try again or save the PDF.
What comes out
A slide of words (a song, a plain slide of words, Scripture) is text you can edit. A picture, a video (its first frame where the browser allows it, otherwise black), a countdown, a QR code and a designed slide go as one picture each. Transitions, builds and a loop's timing stay in PraisePad; the file is the slides as they stand.
The song words in the file are the same as on the screen, and the file is for your church's own use under its CCLI license, as the slides are.
