Make a set from songs you choose
Choose songs in the songs list and PraisePad puts them in an order to sing, with a reason for each and how they join.
Choose two or more songs in (see Choose several songs at once), then press in the bar. A sheet opens with your songs in the order you chose them. Press again and PraisePad puts them in an order to sing: an opener most people know, songs that build, a turn to quieter worship, and a settled close.
Open in PraisePad to try itWhat you see
- The rows slide into their new places, so you can see what moved.
- Each song gets a short reason for its place.
- Between each pair, a note on how they join, like "Same key: flows straight in" or a lift up a step.
- A line across the top shows the tempo of each song, so you see the set build and settle.
- When it suggests another key so two songs join more smoothly, the key shows as a green chip, like C → D. Tap the chip to keep the song's own key. A minor song stays minor.
It uses each leader's own key for a song when one is set. Without a service, it uses yours.
Change it, then use it
Move any song up or down with its arrows. Then:
- plays them in the player bar.
- prints them as one document, each in its key.
- asks again.
A theme
Type a theme or a sermon in the box (optional) and it chooses the songs that fit it best, up to 5, from the ones you chose.
Good to know
Make a set works with 2 to 15 songs. It uses your church's AI allowance: about a cent each time, the same allowance as Suggest songs. It never sends lyrics, only titles, keys, tempos, themes, and tags. Nothing changes until you add the songs to a service.
