Bringing gifts in from your giving provider's file

Bring in gifts from your provider's export so your records, reports and statements cover every way people gave. Planning Center connects instead: see Planning Center Giving.

Export from your provider

• Givelify: exporting donations
• Subsplash: exporting transactions
• Vanco support (a transaction report)
• PayPal: downloading your transaction history

Bring it in

1. Open Bring in and drop the CSV or Excel file.
2. PraisePad knows these providers' files. For any other file, AI matches the columns from their shapes only (never the names or amounts in them), and you check it.
3. It says what the file adds up to. Check that against your provider's own total.
4. Match each fund in the file to one of yours. AI suggests the ones it isn't sure of, marked suggested.
5. See how many gifts matched a person, how many need a look, and how many were already here and are skipped.
6. Bring it in. It stays off until every fund has an answer.

Gifts that need a person go to Who gave this?. Nobody is added to People by an import.

Undo

Each import can be undone for 30 days, unless its gifts are already on a statement that was sent or in a locked month.
