Copy a song to another church you lead in

Lead in more than one church? Copy a song, or many, from one to the other. Each church keeps its own copy.

If you're a leader, admin, or owner in two churches, a song in one can be copied to the other. The other church gets its own copy: change it there, and the first church's song stays as it was, and the other way round.

Copy one song

  1. Open the song, and press Copy to the other church beside its title (or Copy to a church… on the song's ⋯ in the list).
  2. If you lead in more than two churches, choose which one.
  3. Press Copy.

What goes: the song's details, every arrangement (its chart, key, tempo, song order, and notes), its tags, and its recording links. Marks and practice notes stay where they are. The copy says where it came from, under its title: "From Grace Community Church, copied October 8, 2026".

PDFs and recordings

The PDFs and uploaded recordings stay behind unless you tick Copy the PDFs and recordings too. Each church has its own CCLI and SongSelect licence, so tick it only when the other church's licence covers them. They count toward the other church's files.

When the other church has the song

If the other church has a song with the same CCLI number or title, the sheet shows both, side by side, and asks:

  • Add these arrangements to theirs: the arrangements join their song, with your name on them. Their default stays theirs.
  • Copy it as a separate song: the church has both.

Copy many

In Songs, press Select, choose the songs, then Copy to a church. Songs the other church has already wait for one choice for all of them: add the arrangements to theirs, or skip them. Each song copies on its own, so one that can't doesn't stop the rest, and a summary says what happened.

The other church's plan applies: if it's out of room for songs or files, the sheet says so first.
