Show chord diagrams for guitar, piano, or ukulele

PraisePad can draw the shape of every chord in a song, for guitar, piano, or ukulele. On stage they sit in a row above the chart; on a printed chart they sit under the title. Each person chooses their own.

On stage

1. Open the song or service on stage.
2. Tap the T button at the top to open the display options.
3. Under Chord diagrams, choose Guitar, Piano, or Ukulele. Choose Off to hide them.

The row shows each chord once, in the order the song first uses it. It follows your text size, and scrolls sideways when there are many chords.

Your choice stays on for every song until you change it. To set it before you get on stage, open your settings and choose it under Charts on stage.

On a printed chart

On a song's page, press Print. Under Chord diagrams, pick the instrument, then print. The diagrams go at the top of the first page.

With a capo

With a capo on, the diagrams show the shapes you play, not the chords that sound. Capo 2 on a song in A shows G shapes. See key and capo.

When they don't show

• Diagrams show only in the Chords view. In Lyrics or Numbers there are none.
• A song that's a PDF, not a typed chart, has no diagrams.
• Words, "N.C.", and numbers in the chord row aren't chords, so they get no diagram.
