Words for your stream and a Stream Deck

Your livestream can show the song words over the camera, from a link your streaming software opens, with no plugin. And a Stream Deck in the booth can press Next for you.

Steps

  1. 1On the real show, Screens, Share a one-time link, then Livestream words.
  2. 2Copy it, and add it in OBS as a browser source, 1920 by 1080.
  3. 3Leaders: its look is under Present's Settings, Looks: Play a sample, then Save.
  4. 4Leaders: Control surfaces, Add a surface, then paste its key into Companion.
  5. 5On Sunday, the Ready strip shows the stream's viewer and each surface's last press.

Screens is greyed out in Practice, so make the link on the real show while no slide is up, and make a new one for each service. In OBS, leave "Shutdown source when not visible" unticked. vMix, Ecamm and StreamYard take the same link. Before Sunday, open the slides in Practice, under More, and press Next on the Stream Deck: the slide moves, and nothing reaches the room. Not every church streams or has a Stream Deck, so this lesson has Got it.
