Check-in at the door

A station at the door checks people in from the code on their ticket or their name, adds walk-ups, takes cash, and keeps going when the wifi drops. Nobody signs in on it.

Steps

  1. 1On the door's iPad or phone, open praisepad.app/station: it shows a code.
  2. 2Settings, then Events: Pair a station with that code and a name.
  3. 3At the door, Scan a code on their ticket or type a name, then Check in.
  4. 4Someone who didn't sign up: Walk-up, with how they paid.
  5. 5On the event, Print the list, for the night the iPad dies.

Turn on Print a name tag at check-in on the event, and name tags print on your label printer laptop. Pairing a station is for Events managers, with two-step sign-in; the volunteers at the door need no account. This lesson has Got it.
