Counting on a phone, offline, and reading checks from a photo
Count bills with big steppers, keep going with no signal, and let a check photo fill the row for you to confirm.
The batch works on a phone in the counting room. Count the cash by bill with the same big plus and minus buttons the ushers use for attendance, add coins and the bag number, then go on to the checks.
No signal
No signal in the counting room? Each gift saves on the phone and sends when you're back online. A small badge says it's saved there. Don't sign out until it has sent.
Reading a check
Choose Read a check and take a photo (or pick one). Before anything leaves your phone, the bottom of the check, where the bank and account numbers are, is cut off, and the photo's hidden details are removed. AI then reads the name printed on the check, the amount, the date, the check number and the memo, and fills the typing row. Every field is highlighted until you confirm it: you decide, not the AI.
The photo isn't kept. The account numbers never reach PraisePad. If the AI help is resting for the month, type the check in as usual.
Verifying on your phone
The second counter sees the batch's total, the cash by bill, the checks, the slip and the bag number, counts it, and taps that it matches, or that it doesn't with a note.
